My Project
My students use a few basic things every day. They use laptops, notebooks, and pencils. I provide all students with notebooks and pencils to ensure no economic hardship prevents a student from succeeding. Providing all 100+ students with notebooks and pencils throughout the year is costly. This project will help alleviate that cost.
In addition to notebooks and pencils, almost every high school student today needs access to technology.
We are very fortunate in our school district to have one-to-one laptops, which means the school provides every student with a laptop to use throughout the year. However, many of our student's laptops are useless by the middle of the day because they do not have chargers. When students don't have a charger for their laptop they often miss out on class time because they have to find one to borrow from classmates. This project will ensure no class time is lost trying to find a charger. Once this project is funded, these chargers will make sure dead laptops are never causing students to miss out on class time.
My students are exceptional. They are driven, and they want to succeed. This project will make sure all of my students have their daily needs met so they can focus on being the exceptional young people they are.
