This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, intelligent and curious. Exploring is an essential task in our classroom everyday. I teach children with different learning disabilities. This is my first year as a teacher and I lack many materials. My children learn from hands on experience. I teach my students through play. Most of my students are on the autism spectrum ,and I also have students who have other learning disabilities. My students and I would be so grateful for your contribution. God Bless!

My Project

My students need games and activities that focus on the alphabet, letter recognition, and writing, as well as math manipulatives to explore with at learning center time. Our students will use these materials to explore their ability through building, drawing, counting, making letters and sounds. These activities will be used during learning center times throughout the day as we read and write while learning together. They will be able to use the, Alphabet Sounds Teaching Tubs, Tactile Letters and the Letter Recognition Instant Learning Center to learn their alphabet during our whole group and small group time. They will also learn sounds as they make words, numbers, and sets as we explore counting skills. They will love school and feel success at an early age. Thank you!
