Essentials for Hungry and Growing Kids

My Project

I love that my students are resilient, curious, and eager to learn, even when life outside of school can be tough. Every day they bring bright spirits and big hearts into the classroom, even when challenges at home make it difficult. Many of my students face food insecurity, so snacks will give them the energy they need to stay focused and engaged, instead of worrying about hunger. Jogging pants are just as important, giving students dignity and comfort if an accident happens during the day. These resources may seem small, but they remove barriers to learning and allow my students to feel supported, confident, and ready to succeed.
