Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarten students are very smart, sweet, and fun. They enjoy learning new things. They love exploring at centers with different materials, whether it be math cubes or play-dough.
My students do their best learning when they are at centers.
They take the information that I have given them and they apply it during center time. With the Alphabet Cones, students will be able to practice important skills like letter recognition and letter matching. The cream cone cards will help them practice number sense.
Even when they are using Play-Doh, they are working the muscles in their little hands, which in turn helps them with their pencil grip. The easy-grip dough rollers would be perfect for this.
