This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day, my students use their notebooks for warm-ups, notes, group projects, and as a resource. Providing them with notebooks at the beginning of the year helps us get started on our learning. We're able to set them up together and move on to bigger projects.

Students develop critical concepts through group projects.

They are expected to create visuals, graphs, and poster boards to expand on the curriculum. Students can work together and process the curriculum through conversation, notebooking, and creating visuals. We need a supply of rulers, glue, and scissors to accomplish this, especially at the beginning of the school year.
