Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Each day, hundreds of students visit our school library for library class and book checkout. This school year, my students have borrowed and read over 26,000 books from our school library! That's a lot of reading!

I am requesting essential supplies to help our library run smoothly throughout the school year.

Kleenex, hand sanitizer, and soap are always in need and get pricey for me to replenish as our supplies dwindle as the year progresses. We are also in need of a new air filter for our air purifier. Other items, from tape to Post-It notes to laminating pouches used for our table numbers to small Ziploc bags, are supplies used daily in our school library.

These supplies will make our library a comfortable and clean place to learn. Health and wellness go hand in hand with our students’ education.
