My Project

My students represent the beautiful diversity of the world, coming from various cultural backgrounds. This is my 10th year as an art teacher in Chicago Public Schools and I am still amazed by the wonderful things my students create! My community of 250+ students needs art and cleaning supplies that will allow them to unleash the creativity that each and every one of them holds inside!

My students are eager to learn and to show their creativity despite environmental challenges and/or language barriers they may face.

I would love to be able to provide my students with basic supplies such as pencils, glue, tissues, and disinfectant wipes in order to replenish and continue our artistic journey together until summer break. Supply budgets in public schools are extremely limited, especially for art. However, I truly believe art is one of the most powerful tools that allow children to understand the world around them and spark change in their communities!
