Essential School Supplies

Help me give my students glue to complete their assignments and the books for their curriculum.

My Project

The items I am requesting include cases of glue sticks, books that are needed for their curriculum, adaptive lift and assist scissors, and duct tape. Several of my students are non-writers, meaning they require hand-over-hand support to write or trace, and they are still working on scribbling and holding writing utensils.

The majority of their assignments are cut and paste, meaning they go through a lot of glue sticks.

My students also require support with cutting out the pieces, and we want to help them to be more independent. Lift-and-assist scissors have helped some of my students grasp the concept of opening and closing their hands while holding the scissors to make them cut. Over the school year, most of my lift-and-assist scissors have been broken or gone missing. I would love for them to be able to cut with these adaptive scissors to increase their confidence.

The books I am requesting are the books that will be read with their curriculum.
