Essential School Supplies Needed for Third Grade Success!

Help me give my students the essential classroom supplies they need so they can have a successful school year.

My Students

I am a Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) teacher who works with English language learners (ELLs) in a large urban district. Most of my students come from low income families and receive free breakfast and lunch every day. Their past educational experiences range from non-existent to limited. As a result, their educational needs are very diverse.

My students are always enthusiastic, curious, and have a love for learning.

However, many of my students have very limited resources available to them and I am always trying to find ways to make sure my students have everything they need to make their learning productive and successful.

My Project

Most of my students are from low-income families that are unable to buy the necessary school supplies needed. I want my students to feel welcomed and ready to learn with the supplies at their desks when they come to my class on the first day of school.

I am confident these supplies- the crayons, pencils, whiteboard and markers will put smiles on my students' faces knowing they have everything they need to be successful third graders!

My students will be so appreciative to have their own supplies that will help them complete their classwork!
