This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My school is located in rural Mississippi. Our district lacks the funds needed to supply our classroom needs adequately. My kindergarteners are very bright and deserve the much-needed materials. They love any new materials I provide and have a real thirst for learning! I know that with added resources, their knowledge would increase!
Every child deserves to excel in life.
Please help our future generation to excel! Having the much-needed classroom materials would enhance their education and allow them to be successful!
My Project
Organization is a key skill in learning. Our classroom needs shelves in our literacy center. When children learn there is a place for everything they learn to clean up after theirselves. When items are organized they can easily find the materials they need. This allows them to become independent and to take pride in their learning environment. This builds their confidence in being able to do things on their own. In our classroom we learn how to keep things neat and tidy. They become independent and gain pride in knowing they can accomplish things on their own. Please help our class become better organized and help our children become independent. These shelves will allow our literacy center to become better organized.
