This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My first graders are so eager to become great mathematicians. I love seen them using their math strategies to solve math stories. Unfortunately, my classroom lacks many of the necessary tools to help support my students' learning. When my project gets funded, it will help my students be able to accomplish that dream! Help my little kiddos get the tools and manipulatives they are in need of.
Having these basic math materials will not only support my students' learning but will provide them the opportunity to solve, explain and practice math strategies learned throughout the year and that will pave the path to become, great mathematicians!
