Help me give my students the best hybrid and virtual learning experience that will allow them to be the most successful students they can be during this time.
The students in my classroom are all great students. Each day I am pushing them to be the best mathematicians that they can be, even if math is not their favorite subject. Incorporating technology into the curriculum has developed a new found love for math for some.
The climate and culture in my room is all driven by my awesome students.
Each classroom is like a mini family where they all work together to get what needs to be accomplished accomplished. Virtual learning has not stopped them from achieving this awesome atmosphere and I love the hard work they put in every day whether at school or on the computer. The students are striving for success and I’m doing everything I can to make sure they are successful.
My Project
These tools will be extremely helpful in our current learning situation. COVID-19 has hit all of our schools hard and tools like a larger computer monitor and technology equipment will help me be able to expand what I am doing in virtual learning. Right now I am limited by my equipment, but with every product I will be able to do more.
I am currently teaching my students both virtually and hybrid.
The items on my list will help me provide my students with the best learning experience possible. Students will be able to see and I will be able to better show them the things we once did in our classroom via computer.
With the whiteboards and dry erase markers students will be able to quickly provide answers on and off screen, the cameras will allow my students get a clearer enhanced visual of the daily lessons and allow me to provide a better visual instruction. Dual monitors will provide my students the advantage of them seeing me display the lesson and me be able to still monitor their engagement through the other screen. The speakers will allow me to hear my students more clearly and for them to hear me and the videos I often play for them clearer as well. With the Apple Pencil I will be able to grade their work more efficiently and provide them with more annotations and feedback in submitted work. All of the supplies listed will provide my students with a better education that resembles the classroom environment to the best of my ability. I want to provide the best education for my students during this tough time so so they can be the most successful that they can be.
