My Project
Here at our school, we have students who have been sent to us for various reasons. In most cases, these are the results of discipline or criminal issues. In most cases, our program is their last chance at success. Because of this, we try to ensure that our students are given a strong education. Along with this, we try to provide an environment that is as good or better than the one they came from. This is not something that we do alone.
Our school is not funded like traditional public schools.
In many cases, our district uses grants and partial funds from our other schools to run things. As a result, you can probably imagine how our school was stocked before we began writing grants for our students.
Paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and copier paper are all items that we cannot live without. As you can imagine, these items are used constantly by our students. Since the pandemic, we have tried to remain focused on keeping our school clean and safe from germs. In all, we ask that you help our school to continue to help our students. These items are important, but considering our size and funding, you can imagine just what impact this would make for us.
