I work at an amazing school. Our community is close-knit, and many, like myself, grew up in our town. My students represent all different backgrounds, socio-economic status, and ethnicities. The staff works hard to provide meaningful instruction and memories that will last a lifetime.
My students are encouraged to be readers!
It's my goal to instill a love of learning through reading, and I feel that books in their hands give them the greatest chance to go on an adventure, meet new people, or travel to faraway places, all through a book.
My Project
I always aim to start the year off just right, picture-perfect, ready to go! It's important to me that students have a well thought out classroom with procedures in place to help make our day peaceful and easy. That said, there are items I need to replenish to make this happen.
When an environment is engaging and flows seamlessly, we can focus more time on learning!
Book bins are used to travel between their two classrooms, and the vinyl will mark their bin. Coordinating pencil holders will help them keep their items together, and headphones will be available for those students who do not have their own.
