This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students come to school without access to basic hygiene products, which can impact their confidence, focus, and overall well-being.

To help students feel comfortable and prepared for the day, I am requesting supplies to create Essential Hygiene Kits stocked with disposable toothbrushes, protein bars, toiletry bags, body spray, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, and shower wipes.

These kits will provide discreet, easy access to necessities that many students need but may not have at home.

Some students face barriers to personal care due to financial hardships or lack of resources.

Having these essentials readily available in the classroom can:

Help students maintain good hygiene and self-care.

Boost confidence and self-esteem.

Support focus and learning by removing distractions related to hygiene concerns.

The requested items include disposable toothbrushes for fresh breath and hygiene. Protein bars for students who need a quick, nutritious snack. Toiletry bags for discreet and easy storage of personal care items. Body spray for a quick refresh. Deodorant for daily use. Feminine hygiene products (pads, tampons, liners) and shower wipes for students who need a fresh start to their day

Hygiene kits will be discreetly distributed to students in need. A designated hygiene station will be available for students to take items as needed.

Items will be replenished regularly to ensure continued availability.

By providing these essential hygiene items, students will feel more confident, comfortable, and ready to engage in learning. This project will help remove barriers to self-care and create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive.
