My Project

Our school is a special education school that recently switched over to a functional life skills curriculum. We are teaching our students the necessary life skills they need and turned our entire middle school into a mock work study program. Each classroom is themed to teach our students functional life skills. We have a cafe, bakery, stock room, clerical room, personal management room, an apartment simulation and a Cricut room.

The materials from this project will help fund our Cricut room so our students will be able to create and sell t-shirts to staff and families.

It will give our students a sense of purpose and they can learn social skills and the ability to hold a job in the future. Please help us move our students to become career ready.
