Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are energetic, sweet. and kind preschoolers. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses. They also have a variety of learning disabilities including Autism and ADHD.
Making sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for is the priority.
These essentials such as pull-ups and wipes and toothbrushes and toothpaste will help us provide for those students whose parents cannot for whatever reason. We can ensure that they are always dry and clean and that their educational experience is not inhibited by a lack of proper hygiene. It is also important to keep the classroom clean to prevent the spread of germs and illness. Soap and paper towels for cleaning tables and hand soap for washing after the bathroom, before meals and after messy activities will help do just that. Plastic cups will allow those who do not bring their own water bottle to school to drink from the classroom water fountain.
