Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our library is creating career-based clubs and book sections. In our quest to encourage STEM-based careers, we will be decorating an area to use for students who are interested in learning about eSports and the world of gaming. To make our library welcoming for our future game-makers, I would like students to collaborate on LEGO sets with a video game theme. The completed Lego sets will be displayed throughout the library and the students will be proud of their contribution to our gaming area.
The Mario, Sonic, Minecraft, Nintendo, and other LEGO sets requested in this project will excite students to learn how to design games.
I know that by building and viewing the sets when they come to the library, they will get excited about the prospect of working in the gaming industry.
