Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A cozy, inviting library can make all the difference for a child wanting to read. I want to be able to provide a space that is comforting for students to read outside of academic texts. The joy of reading is absolutely important too!

I am hoping to establish library resources for ESOL students to use in the classroom.

It is vital that newcomers and English learning students have access to books, flashcards, and games to feel included in our community. Learning a new language in a new country can be very stressful, so I am hoping that students can immerse themselves in various resources to feel supported.
