This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Having Scholastic "Storyworks" Magazine will help my ESL students to actually see the world out there! They will not have to visualize any longer because they will be able to see what is happening in the world, environment, in real-time, in child-friendly language! They will learn about real-world events having to do with social studies and science from a magazine rather than a textbook.

Having these fabulous, current magazines Scholastic Storyworks Magazine in the classroom will make a world of difference for my ESL students!

They will be able to see pictures of current events happening now! Social studies and science are ever-changing. These are extraordinary tools and life lessons!
