My Project
Students are much more enthusiastic to learn when given an opportunity to complete various activities with a group. The escape room-type activities will make learning fun. Active learning is very important for students. One fun activity that can be used for multiple lessons throughout the year is an escape room.
While using the kits, the students will learn how to work together as a team to solve complex problems and develop better strategic thinking skills.
The selection of Breakout Games included with the kits will teach my students communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking in all content areas.
There are various types of boxes, and locks, including letter locks, number locks, and key locks. Students will use their knowledge to solve puzzles pertaining to the Law & Public Safety curriculum and unlock the boxes to "escape" and win the activity. These supplies will support student engagement in class.
