Ergonomic Bouncy Chairs for Recently Remodeled School Library Classroom Area
Help me give my students two ergonomic chairs that will allow them to bounce silently without distracting others as they sit at the tables in our recently remodeled school library's classroom area.

My Project
After 23 years of teaching, I am halfway through my first year as a school librarian. Many dedicated volunteers and I spent all summer clearing out old furniture and thousands of damaged, outdated, and inaccurate books from our beloved school library. Our first priorities were to create a new Pre-Kindergarten through 3rd grade area and to earn grant funding and donations so that high interest graphic novels, young adult literature for our middle schoolers, and Spanish/Bilingual books could be purchased. With those goals recently completed, our next project is to make our library's classroom area more comfortable by replacing the 40+ year old heavy wooden chairs that our Kindergarteners can't even move by themselves with colorful ergonomic bouncy chairs for all adults and children to enjoy for decades to come!
The brightly colored ergonomic chairs will allow my students to quietly bounce up and down without distracting others while they are reading a book, playing a board game, conducting research, or taking part in a lesson on literature or technology.
We have been very fortunate to have generous donors through Donors Choose purchase six chairs thus far. :) Our eventual goal is to replace the other thirty chairs in the classroom area, but to keep costs for each project low, I am only asking for two chairs per project. The chairs that we recently received have been a game changer for our students with behavioral challenges, learning differences, and sensory sensitivity.
