This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every day, my students start off in our gathering circle. After they take care of housekeeping, we come together to discuss what we will be learning about today. They can't wait to start the fun learning. This is our motto: Listen, Think, and Try! My students work hard every day and they are super eager to learn.
My students come from a variety of backgrounds.
They range from students who are learning the English language (ELL/ESL students) to ones who are special education students and everyone in between. The community is very supportive of our school, and we work to meet the needs of all our students.
My Project
Scented stickers are always a big hit as a reward after a student is done with an assignment. I am adding a new incentive to work for, eraser pets. The cupcake container will hold our little pets as the students work. These pets are functional and adorable. My students are in need of crayons to do some of the wonderful assignments and tasks. Pencil pouches are needed since they need to keep their own supplies to work on independence and safety. The pencil pouches will house their pencil, crayons, scissors and glue stick. They will learn how to be organized and responsible for their own supplies. These supplies will help our year continue to be awesome! Thank you for your consideration!
