Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As I transition from teaching reading to teaching 9th grade English Language Arts, I’m preparing my classroom to support a new set of instructional and organizational needs. At a school where over half of the students identify as Black, Hispanic, or Latino, creating an inclusive, well-equipped space is essential to student success. I’m requesting supplies from Quill that will help build a clean, creative, and functional environment where all students can thrive.
To help maintain an efficient, engaging learning environment, I’m requesting classroom basics that are often overlooked but deeply important to day-to-day teaching and learning.
