My Project
During the early years, children’s brains are developing faster than any other time in their lives. In fact, 90% of the human brain develops before the age of 5. This is why it’s crucial that equity be at the heart of early childhood education.
About 50% of my school's population is below the poverty level.
The students in our school community do not have access to quality and diverse educational toys. Being able to use these multicultural toys through play and language experiences, will develop interpersonal relationships that embrace diversity.
