My Project

Help me provide essential school supplies for my students to create their Social Studies notebooks—an important tool that will guide them through a year of discovery, analysis, and connection with the past and present. Many of my students were directly affected by Hurricane Helene, and their families are still recovering from the emotional and financial toll of that disaster. By funding this project, you will be putting notebooks, folders, glue sticks, highlighters, and other critical materials into the hands of about 100 middle schoolers, giving each of them the opportunity to start the school year prepared and confident.

The goal of this project is not just to gather supplies—it’s to remove barriers to learning.

Too often, students begin the school year feeling behind simply because they don’t have the materials they need to stay organized and engaged. With your help, every student I teach will have what they need to build their own interactive Social Studies notebook, a space where they’ll take notes, reflect on history, and develop critical thinking skills. Your generosity will lift some of the burden off families still facing hardship and allow my students to focus on what matters most: learning, growing, and building a brighter future.
