My Project
I love that my students show up every day ready to learn, even when the odds are stacked against them. They are curious, determined, and genuinely excited when they understand a new concept—especially in math, which many have struggled with in the past.
Scientific calculators will give my students the tools they need to solve real-world problems in algebra and geometry with confidence.
In geometry, especially, calculators are essential for exploring trigonometric functions like sine, cosine, and tangent. These functions can feel abstract at first, but with calculators, students can experiment with values, verify triangle relationships, and build a deeper, hands-on understanding of how trigonometry connects to angles, sides, and real-world applications.
With enough calculators for everyone, no student will be left behind or have to wait their turn. These resources will help level the playing field and empower every student to participate fully, take ownership of their learning, and build strong math foundations for the future.
