This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At Madrid Neighborhood School, our counselors are deeply committed to supporting every student on their academic and social-emotional journey. We also support our teachers and other staff members as necessary. Whether in one-on-one sessions, small groups, or larger gatherings, we strive to meet the unique needs of our entire school community.

While we’re passionate about our work, we don’t always have immediate access to the resources that would make our efforts even more effective.

The items we're requesting will help streamline our day-to-day tasks, allowing us to focus more time and energy on directly supporting our Mustangs.

A color printer will enable us to provide vibrant, engaging materials that bring our lessons to life. Erasers will top the many pencils we distribute weekly, helping students stay prepared and confident. A label maker will help us keep essential items like laundry detergent and deodorant clearly marked and organized. Altogether, these tools will reduce time spent searching for supplies, creating materials, or finding incentives—ultimately helping our counseling program run more smoothly and efficiently.
