This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The best thing that I love about my students is their desire to learn. Their curiosity always seems to amaze me. The discovery of many small moments help fuel their desire to learn.

Many of my children are kinesthetic learners who always seem to be moving around.

For them, the world is just a huge playground full of wonderful things they want to discover and explore. By exploring, they learn about themselves and their environment.

Play for my students is far more than free time, it supports their curiosity in safe ways.

My Project

Some kids are considered hyperactive, but most of our kids are kinesthetic learners. They learn best when they can move around and engage their small and large muscle group.

What better way than to provide them with some outdoor hands-on learning manipulatives.

We feel like the Gymnic GrabBall, Poly Number Spots, and The Light Weight Exercise tool will be ideal for our children. These manipulatives will help them move their bodies in different directions, but in concert with other body parts. This equipment will keep our children active and allow them to learn to push their boundaries and become good at risk assessment.
