My Students

Our students are pretty darn amazing! They want to try new things and find innovative ways to be successful. My job is to give them those experiences and opportunities.

We have 624 students in a Title I school.

We focus on making learning and fitness fun! Our classes range from kindergarten to 5th grade (5-12 years old). Each student has PE two times a week, so each piece of equipment will have 1,250 visits a week! These kids are special and I want to give them the tools to learn a healthy, active lifestyle that will carry them throughout their lives.

My Project

The requested foam footballs, dodgeballs, bean bags, and plastic hoops will help my students engage in manipulation and hand-eye coordination activities. With over 600 students, all the items will get used often and have a lasting impact on many kids.

I’m hoping to introduce these items as part of our quadrant warmup that all students participate in daily.

The tape will help us create safety and management zones during all of our units. This is important in transforming our gym into the learning setting each unit needs. Your support is greatly appreciated and I can’t wait to share the new exciting learning!
