Equip Them With Books to Read and Trade for Summer
Help me give my students art and science books they will be encouraged to share and exchange with other students over the summer as pandemic restrictions ease.
The students have had limited reading and art resources because schools and libraries are closed. We have had to do our learning on-line by sending out lessons to parents and recording videos for them to watch on each subject area.
I would like to create a lending library of their favorite books to trade between themselves during the summer.
My Project
I want to give science books to the students to read over the summer when school is out. If restrictions on social distancing relax over time, I would like them to be encouraged to trade books with other students from the class who live close by.
This puts high interest science reading resources into their hands for reading into the summer months.
If there are a generous amount of attractive science reading resources placed in homes, they will be readily available to every students in that home to enjoy reading.
