Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students at our school are overcoming the effects of the pandemic and are ready to learn. As we continue to transition back to the school procedures from before COVID, students are back in the groove and working to improve themselves each and every day. Keeping a classroom stocked with the basic items (notebooks, paper and pencils) for success creates an equal environment where barriers can be removed and academics can come first.
Fostering a positive environment is a teachers first priority to allow learning to happen.
Regardless of a students level of outside support or financial situation, having all the necessary supplies eliminates any anxiety or negative pressure to feel excluded from learning due to not being prepared. This project will allow me to teach all my students in a safe space to help them grow each and every day.
