Do you remember what it was like when everything was black and white? My students are experiencing this daily when I cannot project lessons in color.
My students are wonderful students in a self-contained elementary special education classroom for students with autism and social communication needs.
In this classroom we celebrate students' unique individual learning styles and unlimited potential for learning.
My Project
I am requesting the Epson color scanner for my classroom. The Epson scanner will allow me to scan in colorful pictures from a variety of sources like textbooks, the Internet, books, etc. The scanner will allow me to upload the images to our whiteboard allowing my students to see their lessons in color. This is a necessity for my special needs students who need images to look like real life images rather than black and white images. I will also be able to scan the color images into our interactive E-beam, which will allow me to be able to manipulate and move objects and text that are on the screen.
This is a valuable resource for my special needs students.
My students need to see and learn with real life images in color as they would see them in the real world and not with black and white images that they cannot relate to.
