My Project
I absolutely love how curious, imaginative, and eager to learn my students are. They come to school each day full of energy and questions, ready to explore new ideas and worlds, especially through reading. Many of my students are developing readers who are just beginning to discover the joy of getting lost in a good book.
The book sets I’m requesting are: Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, The Hunger Games, and I Survived.
These books were selected to captivate their imaginations, build reading stamina, and spark meaningful discussions. These engaging, high-interest series will encourage reluctant readers to keep turning the page while also providing strong role models, rich vocabulary, and critical thinking opportunities.
Having access to these books in our classroom library will give all students, regardless of reading level or background, the chance to see themselves in stories and build a lifelong love of reading. These resources will help them grow as readers, thinkers, and empathetic individuals.
