This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the hardest working students ever! I teach Sheltered English and Oral Communication to high school students who are English Language Learners. My students face the difficult task of learning a brand new language while at the same time having to learn all about geometry, Algebra, Chemistry, World History... and the list goes on. They come to school everyday ready to rise to the challenge; to be the best they can be for theirselves, their family, and their community.

My Project

Today's students use a plethora of digital resources for learning and demonstrating knowledge in school. Throughout the year; they are creating slide show presentations, editing and publishing videos, designing posters, utilizing interactive software, and much more.

They work hard to master the standards, plan, and exhibit their projects.

Imagine their frustration when using a small trackpad that was built for durability and not precision. It's enough to make a student give up!

Hope is not lost though! With your help, my students can envision a year of precision. Help us obtain a class set of wireless mouse devices for students to use in the classroom.
