This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class will be making mosaics out of stained tiles as we talk about to engage students in learning about environmental conservation through creative expression. Mosaic art offers a hands-on approach that allows students to visually represent their understanding of environmental issues and solutions. By using recycled materials in their mosaics, students can grasp the concept of repurposing waste and reducing their ecological footprint. Through this project, I aim to foster a sense of stewardship for the Earth and inspire students to take action in preserving the environment. This activity not only cultivates artistic skills but also instills a deeper appreciation for nature and encourages sustainable practices among the next generation.
