My students are very creative. They love to use computers to solve problems, conduct experiments, and do projects. These students want to be challenged in and out of the classroom. They enjoy expressing themselves and having a good time while learning.
My students need opportunities to use kits and supplies to continue creating models that cover our standards.
We also need assistance with meeting the needs of diverse learnes. We would like to do different activities based on student interests and needs.
Students will use paint and paper to create pictures and models of pollution problems. Student will use the pollution kits to study problems associated with human contributions to pollution. Students will do charts, graphs, and posters on pollution. These materials will make a difference by allowing students to conduct experiments and gather data from the local pond and to compare it with the kit samples. We will use digital media to share the results. Environmental studies will be connected to our study of evolution. We will use these resources to study the change over time of the local species in our pond.
