Most of our students are low income. Often times when they come to school, it is a great escape for them to just be kids. They love to learn and get excited when they learn something and can tell someone else about it.
My Project
These lab materials will give my students the hands on learning that the crave. They love to experience science when they can do it themselves.
Students love to use the scientific method to test theories.
Students will directly learn how to use this method while learning about the environment, and space. They will be able to make their own predictions and hypothesis.
Students will complete labs about landfills, acid rain, and gravity. They will learn without realizing they are learning. Students are much more productive when they can experience science be reading about it.
