My Project

My students are those who have been diagnosed with severe cognitive disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Downs Syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities and more. Within our unit we work with 30+ students who require hands on and engaging activities to assist in their learning. Our upcoming science unit will focus on life cycles of animals and butterflies are a huge part of the unit. With the weather warming up I wanted to give our students the ability to see first hand the wonders of how nature progresses and watch first hand how the life cycle of a butterfly happens. These materials will allow our students to see with their own eyes how truly fascinating nature is and will give them a greater insight on the process of life cycles. It will be an experience they will not soon forget.
