My students are avid readers and are always so excited when we have new books in our classroom library. They are each so special to me, and I want to supply them with as many books as possible. Not all can afford to purchase their own books, which is why your help is important.
Students will learn how to write an argumentative piece on saving the environment with these books.
Books such as, "Be the Change: Rob Greenfield’s Call to Kids―Making a Difference in a Messed-Up World" and "You Can Save The Planet: 101 Ways You Can Make a Difference" will inspire them to change the world for the better. The books will be used to hold class discussions about our Sustaining the Environment unit and can be used for projects.
