My Project

Our students want to know their words and actions matter and make a difference, especially when it relates to the environment and protecting our ecosystems. Through our project-based learning unit, students learn about the impact humans have on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems and become experts in educating the community about practical ways to avoid harmful practices. Furthermore, students will study the rainforest and learn its importance in regulating the environment and as a resource for sustainable items. By incorporating the book, One Day in the Rainforest, students will be able to learn about the effects of deforestation and the importance of preserving the rainforest.

By supporting our project, you will help increase students' awareness and understanding of the responsibility we all have in protecting the environment, as well as enable them to connect their learning to the real world.

They will become experts and inform and educate the school community about ways to reduce harmful impacts on ecosystems through active engagement of reading and research.
