Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The supplies needed in this project will become a part of an ongoing cleanup project for our school community. There are 4 schools within a 2 block radius of our campus. Because of this, a great deal of trash accumulates on a daily basis. Through monthly community cleanup projects, students will learn the importance of the impact we have on our environment.

Everyone deserves to learn, live and thrive in a safe and clean environment.

The safety vests will be branded with our school logo using the heat transfer vinyl. The vests will aid in visibility while we are taking care of our community. The trash pickers and gloves will keep us safe during our work.
