This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach AP Computer Science and Computer Math to gifted classes of Juniors, Sophomores and Seniors. I teach AP Calculus and preCalculus to gifted classes of Seniors and Juniors. We really need your help acquiring textbooks, hardware and software to teach and learn mathematics and computer science with technology! I am happy to report that I have found that many of my students have gone on to become teachers, professors, engineers, doctors and scientists in their own right. I hope that's a result of projects such as this one!

My Project

My AP Computer Science class needs a fun and educational final project! We try to work on a project after the AP Exam is given in May. Every year we hope to come up with something new and engaging. This year we would like to learn about drones and programming them for autonomous flight. CoDrones were developed with a KickStarter campaign and were designed by teachers exactly for this purpose. We really need your help to get this project up and running. We only have a couple of months before the May exams, so can you please help to fund our drones in this short time frame?
