Help me give my students the experience to learn about biology in an equipped laboratory setting and classroom. Help give my students the equipment needed for them to know they can become scientists themselves.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The lab equipment will give my students the opportunity to experience what it's like to be a real scientist while concurrently studying and prepping for their regents exam. I believe that having this type of material in the classroom will make the students learning more fun and engaging. Bringing these type of opportunities to students who are from Title 1 school and are racial and ethnic minorities are very important to me. These students represent who I was when was a student and I want to show them who they can and will be through these different science experiences.
