Enriching Sand and STEM Station Options

Help me give my students a more enriched sensory play time at STEM and math stations.

My Project

Prekindergarten students learn by using their senses. The requested materials will help them to gain knowledge about the world around them by engaging their senses.

Children naturally love to explore sand and they love the kinetic sand which helps them to learn quantities, develop hand-eye coordination, build fine motor skills, and strengthen muscles needed for writing.

The STEM toys requested will help students use their imaginations and to think outside the box, which is a skill needed for problem solving in math. Students develop critical thinking skills and analytical skills which will be valuable throughout their schooling.
