Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is located in Brooklyn, NYC. Our community comprises Hispanic Americans, African Americans, and immigrants from the Caribbean, Central America, and Asian countries such as Yemen and the Philippines. The marvelous students at our school love to celebrate their cultures and diversity through the arts, and music is no exception. Music allows them to share their traditions and to learn and appreciate the ones of their classmates.
Our students love to express themselves through music, and the modern band music program enables them to explore and develop their musical talents.
The modern band program introduces diverse musical instruments, enabling them to explore and develop their musical talents. This program will include instruments like keyboards, guitars, drums, and other contemporary instruments catering to the evolving interests of today's youth.
