Enriching Literacy

Help me give my students an opportunity to enrich their literacy by providing them with beginner chapter books!

My Project

Enrich my students with the opportunity to hold printed books and literature in their hands. After COVID many resources have been digitized for ease of use and the ability to offer itself distance learning as a resource.

With this new phase of technology and opportunity, students have lost the ability to hold print-rich literature in their hands.

Please help me give my students the ability to enrich their learning as they prepare for second grade by providing them opportunities to have beginner chapter books accessible for them to read and enjoy!

Students will be gifted the opportunity to further advance their reading journey as they prepare themselves for second-grade reading. Beginner chapter books offer students the ability to practice shifting their comprehension skills from picture books to chapter books. These books allow students to gain the confidence they need now to read more challenging books down the road.
