This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our amazing fifth grade students are learning about the U.S. history and one huge topic that they are exploring are the 13 colonies! Our students love seeing history come to life through the use of enriching literature. They love seeing how this country was formed and how far the United States has come.

Help us to enrich their exploration of the 13 colonies, while fostering the love of reading and understanding how this country was formed.

Learning about history does not have to be boring and suggested books like these will not only make history exciting but will also enrich their literary skills.

These fifth graders want to learn all they can and prepare themselves for middle school. We want to arm them with all the knowledge possible! You can help us succeed in reaching our goals!
