it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a room full of wonderful, eager, kindergartners who need space to learn! In this high-need community many of the students come from homes with whole families living in 1 room, they share beds with siblings, and often do not have the personal space every person deserves.
We love the table we got from Donorschoose last year!
When class size was 20 in a room, it was perfect! But now my class could have up to 22 students (class size increase in my district). I need space for those last 2 learners! We do lots of art and writing and things that require each student to have their own space. Right now they are squished, making project based learning tough!
My Project
Just one new table would give my students the space they need to spread out and learn in a comfortable environment during art, reading, math, and writing time. The table is built just for primary grades so is the perfect size for my little kindergartners.
Your donation would help my class meet the basic need of having space to work, learn, and grow.
