This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help my students get the classroom they deserve. I am Ms. Amaya, an ENL teacher and I want to add bilingual and multicultural texts to our classroom library and school supplies. Currently, I have a lot of new students who are refugees and need more basic school supplies and texts.
By providing more resources to them, I can provide them with the best classroom environment and meet their educational needs.
For example, I need more laminate sheets to create flashcards so students can expand their English Vocabulary, and by adding more bilingual texts, students can access grade-level content by reading in their native language.
Overall, any generous donations will be greatly appreciated.
